To ensure their products are produced to the highest of standards whilst reducing the transportation of garments, all Noble Wilde products are manufactured locally in Christchurch in partnership with Weft Knitting. 

With vibrant and dramatic landscapes all around, it's no wonder inspiration is drawn from the rich flora and fauna that New Zealand has to offer. The subtle colour pallets reflect the natural beauty of the countryside, sea and stone. These colours feel very familiar when we look the landscapes we're lucky to have here in Scotland, which is why this collection felt like a perfect addition to the Sarah Thomson range when we discovered them in 2019.

About Possum Knitwear

If you've been searching for the warmest materials around, then look no further! The Possum fur fibres are 55% warmer than merino and 35% warmer than its cashmere counterparts. Similar in properties to polar bear fur, its superior insulation is where the warmth is! The fibres themselves are too short to be spun on their own, which is why you'll find that possum is blended with the likes of Merino wool to act as a binder. Another plus to possum knitwear is that it's extremely lightweight and rarely causes any itching or irritation.

The Possum Longline Wrap is a favourite of ours at Sarah Thomson. Popular for its elegant silhouette, its comfort and the fact that you can just throw it over your shoulders for a glamorous, snug look. It's a firm favourite and is a constant feature in our winter collection in varying colours each season. We love to layer these with the Noble Wilde high-neck jumper in a matching colour for a double possum ensemble. Add a long necklace or additionally style it with a lighter polo neck in a contrasting colour for a smart look.
