My Doris

Originally a kitchen table project from her home in Suffolk, Katie Williamson founded My Doris in 2018. Known for her keen eye for fantastic design, she was inspired by vintage accessories and jewellery in particular, coupled with her appreciation for artisan crafters. The name comes from an affectionate nickname as her Father called her Mother 'my Doris'. As her mother's natural flair, style and love of beautifully hand-crafted accessories inspired her, the name seemed to fit perfectly. The team is still based in Suffolk and now consists of nine fantastic women designing the most gorgeous, luxurious women's accessories at an affordable price.

Each individual item is handcrafted across a variety of countries specialising in niche techniques. Katie dedicated her time to finding the best artisans required to create the desired textures, techniques and tones for My Doris. She found family run-workshops in India, Uzbekistan, Turkey and Vietnam that were perfect for the job, which is where all of the My Doris products are now produced.
