During our first visit, we realised quite quickly that this wasn’t your average factory setup. Sartoria Saracena is a family-run business managed across generations and you feel that as soon as you walk in. With a handful of sewing machines as you enter and the pattern cutting room behind this you’ll find walls of beautiful printed linen fabric. As you leave this room and walk out into the courtyard which is brimming with lemons, grapefruits and olives, a terracotta and tile path takes you to their secluded showroom.
