Each basket is carefully made by hand, by talented craftsmen and women in Vietnam, using traditional tools and techniques. In a lovely soft, natural finish, these baskets are made from seagrass and then wrapped and woven in white plastic string. When the seagrass is picked from the fields, it starts off green, but as it dries, it turns into a lovely soft natural colour. Being handmade, each basket is unique and may differ slightly from piece to piece with small imperfections a charming reminder of its humble process.
